Chimney Peak

With the spring melt in full affect throughout Washington, I find myself looking toward the mountains of Olympic National Park, ready once more to get out and explore its vast wilderness areas.
Views like this one along the trail up to Anderson Pass from the Enchanted Valley, with the summit of Chimney Peak barely visible through the thick cloud cover, fill see with a need to get out and see more of what the Olympic Wilderness has to offer. Hopefully all the snow melts away soon so I can get a run at some of the amazing passes and summits in one of my favorite places to get lost.
